Brooke Boney and Tommy Little co-host the 2023 ARIA Awards
The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) is thrilled to announce that Nine Network’s TODAY News and Entertainment presenter, Brooke Boney, and comedian and radio host Tommy Little will co-host the 2023 ARIA Awards in partnership with YouTube on Wednesday, 15 November at the Hordern Pavilion.
Brooke and Tommy will join an illustrious list of entertainers and artists who have previously hosted the Awards including Andy Lee, Bob Geldof, Dannii Minogue, G Flip, Guy Sebastian, Hamish Blake, Hugh Jackman, Keith Urban, Megan Washington, Molly Meldrum, Natalie Imbruglia, Richard Wilkins, Rove McManus, Ruby Rose, Ruel and Sir Elton John.
Brooke Boney, a proud Gamilaroi woman and respected journalist, television presenter and reporter for the TODAY show, has become a familiar face across Australian screens. Having previously worked at NITV, SBS and Triple J, Brooke has a deep passion for entertainment and music with an incredible ability to connect with people and capture the hearts of viewers across the nation.
Tommy Little is the most exciting comedian of his generation, bringing his signature high energy and enthusiasm to the stage, night after night, year after year. His third Amazon Comedy Special Pretty Fly For a Dickhead was just released in April on Prime Video. Tommy is beloved across Australia as one half of popular national radio program The Carrie and Tommy Show.
With their combined wit, charisma, and passion for music, Brooke and Tommy are set to lead an unforgettable celebration of the year in Australian music, in a night filled with exceptional performances from Australia’s top artists and exciting moments.
Brooke Said: “I'm absolutely thrilled to co-host the 2023 ARIA Awards alongside Tommy. Music has the power to bring people together, and it’s an honour to be a part of an event that celebrates the incredible talent within Australia's music industry. Tommy and I can't wait to bring our energy and love for music to the ARIA stage in Sydney, and we promise you a night filled with laughter, amazing performances, and plenty of celebrations. It's going to be a night to remember!"
Tommy Said: “Brooke Boney and I are the perfect Yin and Yang. She is professional, articulate and extremely hardworking, so I guess I will just do the other bits. I absolutely love Australian music but I am also tone deaf, so this is the closest I will ever get to an ARIA and I can’t wait.”
The 2023 ARIA Awards will once again take place at Sydney’s iconic Hordern Pavilion that has hosted many of the world’s, and Australia’s, leading performers. As the vibrant, creative hub of Australia, the Harbour City is the ideal location to celebrate Australian talent, against the backdrop of Sydney’s booming music scene and 24-hour economy.
The 2023 ARIA Awards are proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
