FINAL TICKET RELEASE FOR COMMBANK MATILDAS ‘TIL IT’S DONE FAREWELL SERIES IN ADELAIDE AND SYDNEY
In response to high demand, Football Australia, in collaboration with the South Australian and New South Wales Governments, is thrilled to announce a final limited ticket release for the CommBank Matildas' 'Til It’s Done Farewell Series against China PR.
A limited number of tickets will go on sale for each match at 2.00pm (local) on Monday, 29 April 2024 via Ticketek.
Australia will play the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022™ winning Steel Roses on Friday, 31 May 2024 (7.40pm ACST) at Adelaide Oval before playing their last match on home soil prior to Paris on Monday, 3 June 2024 (7:40pm AEST) at Accor Stadium in Sydney.
With the initial ticket release experiencing rapid sales, and all available ticketing inventory for both venues selling out within hours, this final ticket release will be the last chance for fans to guarantee their seat for these highly anticipated matches.
Upon Football Australia’s final review of available seating, a very limited number of general public seats has been made available, including some Restricted View, with a cap of four (4) tickets per transaction.
James Johnson, Football Australia CEO, said: “There continues to be an overwhelming appetite to watch the CommBank Matildas and, with another major tournament on the horizon, the ‘Til it’s Done Farewell Series will be an unmissable celebration and opportunity to cheer on the team live and send them off to Paris in style.”
“We are delighted to be able to release a final allotment of tickets for these in demand matches to our incredibly loyal CommBank Matildas’ fanbase and we have no doubt they will be claimed in record time,” he concluded.
South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas said: "The CommBank Matildas really are the hottest ticket in town and this final limited ticket release is sure to be snapped up in no time."
"It's great we will now be able to welcome even more fans to see the CommBank Matildas play at Adelaide Oval for the first time. The CommBank Matildas have inspired so many young people and it is exciting thousands of South Australians will have the opportunity to see them play live."
NSW Minister for Sport Steve Kamper said: "The NSW Government is proud of our long-standing partnership with Football Australia. This limited ticket release is a fantastic opportunity for even more fans to roar on the CommBank Matildas before they head off to Paris in their Olympic quest.
“Just like we saw during last year's FIFA Women's World Cup, international football brings a huge buzz to Sydney and NSW. We saw visiting fans from all over Australia packing our hotels, bars, restaurants, and checking out local attractions. Don't miss this final chance to cheer on our CommBank Matildas before they chase Olympic glory in Paris.”
