Icebergs Dining Room and Bar Wins Restaurant Bar of the Year at the 23rd Annual Bartender Magazine Bar Awards
Sydney, Australia, September 11, 2024, Icebergs Dining Room and Bar is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious title of Restaurant Bar of the Year at the 23rd Annual Bartender Magazine Bar Awards.

Over the years the Icebergs' Bar has really developed as its own dining destination, and it’s a great privilege to do what we love every day on the land of the Gadigal, Bidjigal, and Birra-Birragal people, high up on the clifftops of the Pacific Ocean, in Bondi Beach. We have always aimed to provide an unparalleled experience, combining exceptional service, a unique atmosphere, and an à la carte menu that offers more than just snacks and drinks. Our drinks provide a sense of place, beachside classic drinks made with a twist.
“I realised the importance of wet sales in a restaurant environment and having a bar attached when I read this in one of Sir Terence Conran books. The British did this very well in the 90's, and I am proud to say Icebergs Dining Room and Bar was one of the first restaurants to take this approach here in Sydney. An independent bar that works harmoniously with the restaurant. Matty, Lenny and the team always fulfilled my brief; they never wrote a cocktail list for their egos; they always nailed beachside drinking,” Icebergs Dining Room and Bar owner Maurice Terzini said.
