Link Airways welcomes newest Tamworth - Sydney route
Link Airways is delighted to officially be connecting Tamworth and Sydney with direct flight services commencing Monday 27 June 2022.
“We’re proud to be expanding our network with direct flights operating between Tamworth and Sydney. This expansion is a significant milestone for us, as we are looking to enhance connectivity between these two destinations and fly friends and families, clients and colleagues, and tourists at their convenience,” says CEO of Link Airways, Andrew Major.
Link Airways identified and acknowledged the strong demand for flights between Tamworth and Sydney from many local Tamworth businesses. Complementing the existing Brisbane and Tamworth route operating since 2016, the establishment of this new service will open growth opportunities for Tamworth business owners to expand their services and network across Sydney.
With a flight time of just over 60 minutes and frequency of flying twice daily, this service will provide business travellers from Tamworth and Sydney the opportunity to spend a full business day at their destination and return home that same afternoon whilst also facilitating the potential for weekend stays.
With a schedule of 28 return services per week, Link Airways aims to offer the most convenient and best travel experience possible. The new services will be operated utilising the airline’s 34 passenger Saab 340B Plus aircraft. With a full inflight cabin service passengers can treat themselves to hot and cold beverages and premium snacks with complimentary wine/beer available during all afternoon and evening services.
