LUNA PARK IN THE DARK RETURNS FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY
Get ready to discover a magical moonlit world as Luna Park in the Dark returns to Sydney’s beloved heritage-listed amusement park for a limited time only this May, with tickets available to purchase from 6pm today.
In a breathtaking spectacle, over 30,000 lights will be turned off every Friday and Saturday from 6-10pm to give Sydneysiders a unique opportunity to experience Luna Park Sydney in complete darkness.
Thrill-seekers will have the chance to explore the Park like never before, with unlimited access to their favourite rides under the stars. Whether you’re gliding through the night sky on the Volare, soaring through the clouds above the Hair Raiser or defying gravity with a 360-degree spin on the Sledgehammer, this will be an unforgettable experience.
A Luna Park in the Dark ticket will also include entry to the Sonic Neon, Luna Park Sydney’s newest sound and light immersive experience. Set to an iconic 90s soundtrack, the spectacular attraction illuminates 150 metres of the historic Crystal Palace with over 26,000 lights. If that wasn’t enough, visitors will have access to the Blacklight Dessert Bar where they can indulge in sweet treats that glow in the dark.
To top it off, a cast of carnival characters will be ready to entertain visitors as they adventure through the darkness, Sydney’s Immersive Big Top will house classical Candlelight concerts.
Luna Park Sydney’s CEO John Hughes said: “We are so thrilled to welcome back Luna Park in the Dark to Sydney’s ever-evolving playground. This year’s experience promises an adventure beyond compare, featuring captivating candlelight performances, nostalgic heritage carnival entertainment, a mesmerising glow-in-the-dark dessert bar, and an electrifying journey through our newest immersive attraction, Sonic Neon.”
