Luna Park Sydney turns into a Swiftie wonderland
Are you ready for it…? Luna Park Sydney will be transformed into a Swiftie Wonderland for three nights, from the 23rd until the 26th February, to celebrate global superstar Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated visit to Sydney for her Eras Tour.
In a dazzling tribute to the 14-time Grammy award winner, an enchanting light display in all of the Eras colours will take over the iconic Luna Park Sydney Ferris Wheel that will make fans want to stay, stay, stay all night long.
Taking inspiration from the song Coney Island and Taylor’s iconic photo featuring Luna Park Sydney in 2012, a very special Eras bench will be installed in the Park giving Swifties the chance to capture and remember their own ‘I'm sitting on a bench in Coney Island wondering where did my baby go’ moment.
CEO of Luna Park Sydney, John Hughes, said: “As one of Sydney’s iconic destinations, Luna Park is excited to shine and celebrate Taylor Swift’s time in Sydney. Our Eras coloured Ferris Wheel will be a photogenic landmark to see and photograph.
Taylor will have an exception view from her accommodation of the three icons of the Harbour; the Bridge, the House and Luna Park Sydney. So we are lighting up the Ferris Wheel to ensure Taylor can see just how excited we are to have her in Sydney.
Coney Island is our heritage listed 1935 fun house. Aligning our venue to Taylor’s iconic lyrics from her song 'Coney Island' showcases our mantra ‘best of the old, best of the new’.”
The incredible Ferris Wheel display can be seen from 6:00pm to 1:00am over three nights, inviting fans to join the excitement and experience the magic of Taylor Swift like never before.
Ticket information
The Ferris Wheel light display and Coney Island bench photo will be free and accessible to all fans visiting the Park during opening hours.
For an enhanced experience, Luna Park Sydney is offering a limited edition ‘Taylor’s Version’ ticket – a specially curated, discounted bundle to ensure Swifties can make the most of their time in Sydney.
Fans will have full access to Coney Island, two rides and a session of the new digital immersive show Dream Circus. Tickets are $50 and will be available to purchase online at lunaparksydney.com or from the ticket box office at the Park.
