New Concert Series Sydney Summertime to Launch at Centennial Park in 2027

Black Peach has today announced Sydney Summertime, a new offi cial concert series launching at Centennial Park in late February and early March 2027. Presented as a collection of standalone concerts, each event will bring major outdoor live music to the heart of the city, with the first international headliners and local artists, concert dates and ticketing information to be announced in the coming weeks and months.

Set within 189 hectares of parklands in Sydney’s east and minutes from the CBD, the inaugural Sydney Summertime season will create a dedicated late-summer concert experience, bringing together live music, fi ve distinct ticket experiences spanning general admission, dedicated viewing stations and VIP Villages, and a food and beverage line-up spanning Sydney’s best restaurants, bars, food trucks and cellar doors.

Sydney Summertime is presented by Black Peach, the independent event experience company founded by Jessica Ducrou and Elise Huntley, who each bring more than three decades of experience across Australian live music and entertainment. Together, they have played key roles in creating and shaping some of the country’s most recognised live music events, including Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Homebake, Harvest Rock, Download Festival and Sydney City Limits.
Drawing on this experience, Ducrou and Huntley have developed Sydney Summertime as a new concert format for the city, driven by a shared ambition to create an outdoor music event designed specifi cally for Sydney.

“Centennial Park is honestly my favourite place in town, it's an absolute dream to host Sydney Summertime in arguably the best venue in the country. What a privilege to create a greenfi elds concert experience here, we are super grateful to Greater Sydney Parklands and Destination NSW for supporting our vision as we roll up our sleeves and get to it. Good times ahead!” says Jessica Ducrou, Co-Founder and Director of Black Peach.

Reflecting on the experience they hope to create for audiences, Elise Huntley, Co-Founder and Director of Black Peach, adds, “Sydney Summertime is more than just another concert. It’s about creating a fresh and exciting way to experience incredible live music, bringing together great artists and audiences in one of Sydney’s most iconic outdoor settings.”

Each standalone concert will bring together a major headliner and a line-up of Australian and international artists. Across the limited season, the concerts will span a broad range of genres and appeal to audiences across generations.

Designed around fl exibility, variety and choice, each concert will offer fi ve different ticket experiences across a range of price points, including General Admission, Gold Circle, The Grove - Sydney Summertimes VIP Village, a viewing deck at The Terrace and The Suites.

Food and hospitality will form an integral part of the Sydney Summertime experience, with pop-ups from some of Sydney’s leading restaurants alongside food trucks, cellar doors, a dedicated cocktail bar and beer hall, as well as bars located throughout the concert site.

As a new addition to Sydney’s major events calendar, Sydney Summertime is proudly supported by Destination NSW. Bringing together international headliners, Australian artists and hospitality within Centennial Park, the offi cial concert series will offer locals and visitors alike a new way to experience Sydney in summer, while reinforcing its position as Australia’s premier live music destination.

Minister for Jobs and Tourism Steve Kamper said, “The new Sydney Summertime concert series is yet another reason for visitors to fl ock to the Harbour City at the best time of year.”

“The Minns Government is backing a pipeline of major events because we know they play an important role in making Sydney a more vibrant global city and grow our visitor economy.”

“This is exactly the kind of event we want to see more of in NSW, events that showcase our city, support local jobs and businesses, and give people another reason to visit Sydney.”

Minister for Music and the Night-time Economy John Graham adds, “The team behind Sydney Summertime have created some of the state’s best ever festivals so it’s great to see them back with a new event.

“NSW has a rich music festival history, but recently that sector has been under a lot of pressure. We don’t want to lose any more festivals, in fact we want more of them, which is why we’re backing Sydney Summertime to succeed.”

Moshtix has been appointed as the offi cial ticketing partner for Sydney Summertime, with public transport integrated into each concert ticket to give audiences greater choice in how they travel to and from Centennial Park.

The fi rst Sydney Summertime concerts at Centennial Park, including artists, dates and ticketing information, will be announced in the coming months.
