Raise a glass for your favourite local wines this NSW Wine Month
This November, wine lovers across the state can raise a glass as NSW Wine Month returns for its second year, bringing with it a packed program of events and experiences that let wine lovers meet the people behind their favourite drops and discover something new and wonderful.
Running throughout November, NSW Wine Month is a celebration of the wines and regions of NSW designed for the consumer and shining a spotlight on both the iconic and emerging. Supported in 2025 by Destination NSW, The Rocks, our media partner Good Food, Dan Murphy’s and The Wined Up Podcast expect more wine tastings, stories, dinners, chef collaborations and promotions that serve as a reminder of just how great the wines are on our doorstep.
Following the success of the inaugural NSW Wine Month in 2024, which saw incredible engagement across more than 40 events, NSW Wine is excited to make 2025 bigger, better and more interactive. Sydney Cellar Door will return as the month’s flagship event, Good Food and The Wind Up Podcast will be telling our stories, Dan Murphy’s will be even more focussed on local, and our hospitality partners will provide the venues across the state to host events and collaborate.
NSW Wine President Mark Bourne said “NSW Wine Month is about celebrating the passion, innovation, and diversity of our winemakers. From cool-climate chardonnays to bold shiraz, we want people to experience the extraordinary wines being crafted across our state, and to make choosing local a natural part of the hospitality experience. Sydney Cellar Door will once again be the centrepiece, but the beauty of NSW Wine Month is that it offers something for everyone, everywhere.”
Minister for Jobs and Tourism Steve Kamper said “a key focus of the NSW Visitor Economy Strategy 2035 is delivering culturally rich experiences that highlight our stunning landscapes and worldleading produce. NSW Wine Month does exactly that by pairing our state’s world-class wines with the opportunity to meet the talented people who create them in beautiful locations. From the Hunter to Hilltops and Southern Highlands to the Shoalhaven Coast, NSW Wine Month will feature long table lunches, food and wine pairings, master classes and guided tastings, highlighting why our state’s wine regions are so unforgettable.”
