SUNSHINE EXPECTED ALL WEEKEND FOR WANDERER FESTIVAL TICKETS MAY SELLOUT
With only a few days to go until Wanderer Festival lights up the Sapphire Coast, there’s a few things you should know.
The weather is looking spectacular – make the most of it!! Perfect for festivals, camping and the great outdoors. Come early, stay late. Pitch a tent in the festival campground for a handy base night and day, then enjoy a morning swim to recharge your batteries. Press repeat!
Friday Night Cinema is happening exclusively for onsite campers. Settle in for Studio Ghibli classic My Neighbor Totoro (5:30pm), Jim Henson’s musical fantasy Labyrinth (7:00pm) featuring David Bowie, and Stop Making Sense, a 1983 Talking Heads performance (8:45pm). Catch them on the big screen with pizza or dumplings!
Onsite Campers can ease into each day with morning yoga, light entertainment and a selection of catering stalls all happening before main gates open to everyone else. Perfect for travellers and locals alike wanting maximum Wanderer goodness. Onsite campsites must be prepurchased. Campgrounds open at 4pm on Friday and close 12 noon Monday.
Tickets may sell-out. If you would kick yourself for missing out on Wanderer, buy tickets NOW! Happening only once every two years, it’s a long time until the next one… If you’re prone to FOMO, we highly recommend buying tickets for both days.
Parking is available opposite the event but we also recommend car pooling, cycling and catching the bus. Parking on nature strips is illegal in NSW unless signage permits it. To avoid hefty fines, avoid parking in Pambula Beach residential areas and anywhere not specifically permitted by signage.
Buses are the go for getting around on festival weekend. Whether you are staying onsite and wanting a ride into town, or needing a lift to and from home locally, check the bus timetable and ticketing for the Sapphire Coast Bus Lines dedicated festival service. Bus passes must be pre-purchased. Cycling is another great way to get around and racks are provided at the festival (BYO bike lock).
Got a diehard sports fan in your midst? Hooray for the superscreen where the NRL final will be showing and the beer will be flowing.
Wanderer delivers an incredible program of artists you love and others you’re about to. Map out your festival weekend with the Wanderer Festival program schedule and Festival App.
