Take On the Tough Mudder Challenge and Do Something Tough for People Affected by Cancer

In the time it will take you to finish the Tough Mudder course, approximately 413 Australians will have heard the words ‘you have cancer’. This year, Tough Mudder is excited to announce our partnership with Cancer Council NSW as we unite for a greater cause, to tackle one of life’s toughest challenges.

"By signing up for Tough Mudder this October and participating in Cancer Council’s Wave on Saturday 12 October, participants will help raise crucial funds for those affected by cancer, supporting them in one of life's toughest challenges", Tough Mudder General Manager Fernando Samaha said.

“We’re also allowing participants to round up their ticket purchase by $1.99, with these funds donated directly to Cancer Council NSW.”

Cancer Council NSW ambassadors and tackling the Tough Mudder course this year are Sean Stuart, Rory Cheal, Max Cutrone and Jasper Gotterson - four best mates who understand the determination and camaraderie required to face this challenge.

In 2023, these men completed the ultimate challenge - completing 80 marathons in 80 days across the USA to support Australians diagnosed with cancer. Their phenomenal efforts saw them raise over $200,000 for cancer research. Now, these mates have their sights firmly set on the Tough Mudder course - a new challenge to complete together.

This October, join Cancer Council’s Tough Mudder Wave to donate the entire cost of your ticket and help those impacted by cancer. “We’re excited to see people take on the Tough Mudder challenge and use their physical strength, mental grit, and camaraderie to do something tough for people affected by cancer.” Naomi Watson, Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Cancer Council NSW said.

“A cancer diagnosis is one of life’s toughest challenges. By partnering with Tough Mudder this year, we’re encouraging Australians to come together and take this challenge head-on for those affected by cancer.”

Cancer Council is Australia’s leading cancer charity and the only charity that works across all areas of every cancer, from research to prevention and support. They help people from the point of diagnosis through their treatment and beyond.

Let's tackle the course and cancer together because it’s all of us against cancer.

Tough Mudder is supported proudly by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency,
Destination NSW.
