Australia's longest running and most awarded consumer food event is embracing the magic of the festive season, with tickets on sale now for The Good Food & Wine Show Christmas Edition.
Arriving in Sydney this November, the festive event will bring together the country's biggest Christmas food celebration and the world’s first immersive THE GREAT AUSTRALIAN BAKE OFF experience. Fans can step inside the much-loved brand and enjoy a weekend packed with food, festive inspiration and hands-on experiences.
For millions of Australians, THE GREAT AUSTRALIAN BAKE OFF is more than a television show. It's a celebration of creativity, community, generosity and the simple joy of baking for the people you love. Known for its warmth, heart and inspiring home bakers to step into the kitchen, the much-loved brand comes to life this Christmas in a way fans have never experienced before.
At the heart of the Christmas Edition is a jam-packed program of food, cooking and baking experiences, with live chef demonstrations, hands-on cooking classes, and a dedicated kids’ baking zone.
The Festive Kitchen features a purpose-built 120-seat theatre where Australia's favourite chefs, and Bake Off personalities will share recipes, tips and entertaining inspiration for the holiday season. Expect live festive table and baking demonstrations and a watch-and-learn program designed to help home cooks recreate their favourite festive recipes with confidence.
Leading the Festive Kitchen lineup is celebrity chef and television personality Miguel Maestre, the Queen of Chocolate Kirsten Tibballs; they are joined by THE GREAT AUSTRALIAN BAKE OFF judge Darren Purchese.
For those wanting to get up close and personal with some of the best chefs and bakers in the country, The Cooking School, provides a series of interactive masterclasses, where you get to make a guided dish in an experience you will remember forever.
The Bake Off experience extends to the youngest aspiring bakers in Little Bakers Corner. Designed especially for children, this interactive space encourages creativity, and hands-on Bake Off fun, with opportunities to decorate festive treats, create delicious Christmas goodies and discover the joy of baking.
On the show floor you will find two distinct shopping precinct’s, The Festival Village, a curated marketplace featuring premium food and beverage producers, gourmet gifts and seasonal delicacies. Complete with a giant Christmas tree, food sampling, wine tastings and plenty of festive photo opportunities. For those inspired by the creativity and joy of Bake Off, a Baker’s Village which brings together Australia's leading baking brands, artisan producers, ingredients, bakeware, and decorating essentials.
Guests can also discover what’s hiding in their Christmas glass at Wine Selectors Secret Sips. Taste three mystery wines, put your senses to the test and see if you can uncover three festive reveals. This fun and interactive
30-minute experience is packed with surprises, delicious discoveries and Christmas cheer along the way.
After a day of festive shopping, tasting and festive inspiration, visitors can head to Good Eat Street for more tasty bites, before planning their next round of Christmas discoveries.
For more than twenty years, the Good Food & Wine Show has connected the country's most loved chefs, winemakers and producers with food lovers, drawing more than 115,000 visitors nationally each year across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.
