‘Tides of Treasure’ swims into Shellharbour

The Enchanted Forest is back with a brand-new adventure. From Friday 30 May to Sunday 22 June, the award-winning light and sound show returns to Blackbutt Forest Reserve with Tides of Treasure, an immersive, ocean inspired experience.

After two sold-out seasons, this magical nighttime event invites visitors to follow glowing trails, uncover the secrets of the sea, and help unlock lost treasure hidden beneath the waves.

Each year, The Enchanted Forest transforms Shellharbour’s beloved Blackbutt Forest into a living storybook, blending light, sound, and nature. This year’s theme draws on the region’s coastal character to create a truly unique experience for all ages.

Presented by Laservision in partnership with Council, Tides of Treasure builds on the creative vision first launched three years ago. Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said it was fantastic to see The Enchanted Forest return for another season.

“This event has become a much-loved part of Shellharbour’s calendar. It brings people together, supports our local business, and showcases the natural beauty of Blackbutt Forest in a truly magical way,”” Mayor Homer said.

“The new underwater theme looks incredible, I can’t wait for people to see it. Whether it’s your first visit or your third, there’s always something new to discover.”

Laservision CEO Shannon Brooks said: “We encourage you to visit The Enchanted Forest early on, as another sell-out is likely. Both the underwater theme and the many new interactive elements found in 2025’s adventure were influenced by community feedback.”

Laservision Art Director Angela Davis added: “We are thrilled to launch the new season of The Enchanted Forest and invite guests to rediscover their sense of wonder as they explore our dazzling new interactive elements and immersive installations that will transport visitors to a magical world beneath the waves.”

The Enchanted Forest runs nightly from 30 May to 22 June. Tickets start from $10.50 for children, $16.50 for adults, and $43.50 or a family of four. Infants under two attend for free.
