Touch Football Australia Locks in Coffs Harbour for Third Consecutive National Youth Championships
Touch Football Australia (TFA), in partnership with Strategic Sponsor Destination NSW and City of Coffs Harbour, has today confirmed that the 2026 DoorDash National Youth Championships (NYC) will take place at C.ex Coffs International Stadium, Coffs Harbour, from Monday, 28 September to Thursday, 1 October.
2026 will mark the NYC’s third consecutive appearance on the Mid-North Coast, extending TFA’s strong partnership with the region and contributing more than $5 million in economic benefit to the New South Wales and Coffs Harbour economy each year. The NYC is one of two flagship events on the national Touch Football calendar, alongside The Championships, and continues to play a key role in the sport’s development and talent pathway for junior participants.
Last year’s edition of the premier youth event delivered a spectacular showcase of Touch Football from the nation’s emerging talent, with the under-18s Boys and Girls grand finals headlining the four-day carnival. Queensland Representative School Sport (QRSS) reclaimed the Girls title in a tightly contested battle against NSW Combined High Schools, while NSW Combined Independent Schools secured a thrilling buzzer-beater victory over QRSS in front of a vocal crowd of supporters.
TFA is also continuing to work closely with its strategic and government partners to secure dates and venues for the next three-year period from 2027 to 2029. Further information will be shared with the Touch Football community as it becomes available, ensuring participants have as much time as possible to plan their commitments for our national events.

“The C.ex Coffs International Stadium-anchored sports precinct enables this mass-participation gala to be held at the one venue in a laidback family-friendly city where it’s easy to get around and catch the sights.”
Event Details
The 2026 DoorDash National Youth Championships will be held at C.ex Coffs International Stadium in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, from Monday, 28 September to Thursday, 1 October 2026.
