Strummingbird Festival Announced to Tour Sunshine Coast, Newcastle & Perth This Spring
Giddy up! Today, Kicks Entertainment lifts the curtain on Strummingbird, a brand new modern country festival hitting the wide open road from October, landing in Sunshine Coast/Kabi Kabi Country, Newcastle/Awabakal Country and Perth/Whadjuk Country.
Strummingbird blends the genre’s rich roots with a contemporary feel that walks the line of tradition and now. With a top-shelf lineup to be announced on Thursday 31 July, the festival promises an unmissable experience for lifelong country fans and newcomers alike across three massive stops:
Saturday 25 October 2025 – Sunshine Coast | Kabi Kabi
Saturday 1 November 2025 – Newcastle | Awabakal
Sunday 2 November 2025 – Perth | Whadjuk
Beyond the music you can expect line dancing, BBQ and bevs, as well as true blue fashion and merch that celebrate country spirit in all its forms. Get rowdy amongst the sideshow alley pop-up (complete with a mechanical bull, of course) that captures the energy found everywhere from the roadhouse to a classic honky tonk.
Strummingbird follows in the footsteps of Kicks Entertainment’s other world-class events, including the nationally beloved Spilt Milk. Whether you’re raised on country or just love a good guitar riff, Strummingbird welcomes all.
Mark your calendars - lineup drops on Thursday 31 July.
