On Saturday, 1 March 2025, Virgin Australia and Ovolo Hotels are turning up the pride and party vibes for the biggest LGBTQIA+ weekend of the year. Returning for another year, The Pride Flight Recovery Brunch at Ovolo Woolloomooloo is the ultimate pre parade event to kickstart a full day of rainbow celebrations.
In partnership with Virgin Australia, Papa Salt Gin, Absolut, Heaps Normal, Sundaylicious, Cocobella, NYX, Matrix and Betty’s Burgers, Pride Fight Recovery Brunch attendees will be an experience which is a vibrant, glamorous celebration filled with delectable bites, fabulous cocktails, generous giveaways and buzzing entertainment.

Hosted at Ovolo Woolloomooloo’s chic Bar Woolloomooloo, the Pride Flight Recovery Brunch promises an indulgent feast paired with an irresistible cocktail menu crafted from premium spirits by Papa Salt Gin and Absolut. Sip on classics like Mimosas, Bloody Marys, Martinis, Gin & Tonic and Aperol Spritz while soaking up the joyful atmosphere. A tantalising food offering will keep taste buds delighted with Bar Woolloomooloo tickling your tastebuds with an array of eats, with Betty’s Burgers serving up juicy, mouth- watering burgers to satisfy cravings.
NYX will add extra sparkle to the celebration with dedicated beauty stations, complete with professional make-up artists to provide complimentary makeup touch-ups, ensuring attendees stay fabulous throughout the festivities. Get ready to dance as DJ Victoria Anthony takes to the floor to fill ears with favourite queer anthems throughout the event keeping the energy high and the dance floor buzzing. Performances from Ovolo’s resident Queen, Thin Lizzi will add an extra bit of spice alongside Drag Race Down Under season 4 finalist Freya Armani.
