The Biennale of Sydney presents Ten Thousand Suns, from 9 March to 10 June 2024. A free contemporary art festival showcasing local and international artists across multiple galleries and venues.

The Biennale of Sydney presents one of the biggest and most exciting contemporary visual arts festival in Australia. Held every two years, across a three-month period, the Biennale showcases artworks from local and international artists, in multiple galleries and public sites across Sydney for free. The 24th edition, starting from 9 March to 10 June 2024, presents works on the theme of Ten Thousand Suns.

For the first time, the Biennale of Sydney will be presenting a live contemporary music program, curated by Phoenix Central Park, in response to the works and themes of Ten Thousand Suns. This edition is a vibrant celebration of joy, hope, and collective strength, a method of coming-together to overcome mainstream inaction and pays homage to the legacies of collective resistance.
