From luxe cabins and glamping by the beach to engaging new tours and an opera performance in a wildlife park, NSW is full of new ways to get you exploring this month.

NEW ACCOMMODATION

Escape to New England High Country
For travellers looking for an immersive nature escape that will leave them feeling completely rejuvenated, Mooraback Cabin in Werrikimbe National Park near Port Macquarie has been recently refurbished. With two bedrooms, a sundeck, outdoor firepit and barbecue, guests can spend their days exploring the surrounding rainforests, looking for platypus and lyrebirds.

Glamp by the beach on the North Coast
A new reason to put Lennox Head on the list: four new glamping tents and two new bell tents at Reflections Lennox Head. Each has a kitchenette, ensuite and bathtub on the balcony, and is right beside Seven Mile Beach and a short stroll to the shops. Guests will love slowing down and soaking in the serenity of this stunning spot.

Jimmys Beach Holiday Park goes eco luxe
A $5 million upgrade is due to be completed in time for summer at Reflections Holiday Parks Jimmys Beach at Hawks Nest. Along with the sparkling white beaches and calming blue bay home to pods of dolphins, guests will now enjoy nine new premium eco-cabins, a saltwater swimming pool, glamping tents, high-speed wi-fi, solar energy and water tanks, and an accessible cabin with a ramp.

New tiny homes at Brunswick Heads
Paddling in the river, relaxing with long afternoons fishing as white-bellied sea eagles fly overhead, and strolling nearby beaches: Reflections Holiday Park Ferry Reserve in Brunswick Heads is an ideal coastal escape. The park now offers tiny homes that sleep two guests, for cosy, romantic stays by the water.

Bundanon goes deep
Shoalhaven art gallery Bundanon has announced its Season 3 program, Siteworks 2022: From a deep valley, open from 26 November 2022 – 12 March 2023. Guests can stay overnight to make the most of their visit and be fully immersed in the magical landscape.

Connect to the landscape in Lake Macquarie

The Lake Cruise & Nature Walk takes guests on an adventure boat tour exploring the beaches and islands of the largest saltwater lake in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as a 2km guided bushwalk and a premium grazing box at Dobell Park.

Watch opera alongside native animals
Nature and culture come together at Opera in the Wild, four performances from November 17-20 by stars of the Australian Opera and the State Chamber Ensemble at Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary on the Central Coast.
